7 and 8 months

Jackson is growing up so fast. On 7/25/10 right after we got back from Cody's family reunion Jackson's 2 bottom teeth came in. He had one or two rough nights when they were coming in but he was pretty good. During our Bear Lake trip he rolled from his back to his stomach for the first time at my brother's house. He didn't really do it again until 8/12/10 when we were back home and he started to roll all over. He started to say dada first around 7 months and then started to say mama pretty good just after that. He jabbers a lot and makes lots of little noises. He is still always very happy and smiles very easily!!

Jackson enjoying his food!

So stinkin' cute!!

Getting fed before church

Cody put Jackson in his diaper box and he loved playing in it. He was having a good old time with the wipe container playing in his box.
Who needs toys when you have diaper boxes and wipe containers

The easiest way for me to get anything done while Jackson is awake is to put a Baby Einstein on. Even when he was pretty little he would sit and watch them. He knows from the music when it is a Baby Einstein that I am putting on and he will kick his feet, flap his arms, and squeal because he is so excited for his movie. I think his favorite one is Baby Noah.

Jackson sitting on my bed enjoying his Baby Noah and playing with an empty cup!!

While we were at Bear Lake Jackson started to hold his own bottle. He knows how to do it but usually chooses to let you hold it for him.
A rare shot of him holding his bottle - lounging on the couch

One night after I put Jackson to bed he started to cry after I assumed he was asleep because it had been about 15 mins. When I went in to check on him he was stuck sideways in his crib. I turned him back and then another 15 mins went by. I went in to check on him and he was sideways again. This time he was laughing and kicking away. I turned him back around and then as I went to bed about 10 mins later he was asleep and stuck sideways again!!!

He is so big he doesn't fit this way!!!!

Since Jackson enjoys playing in his box we figured he would like to play in this big tupperware bin. He was having a good time in there.

Who needs a babysitter when you've got a big box to put your kid in!!!

Showing off his spike after he got a haircut

Lounging in his little chair - thankfully it isn't to far off the ground because he always tries to dive out of it
