At the end of June I decided to take my little boys and go visit my parents. We had lots of fun. We got to swim a lot and hang out with grandma and grandpa.

Tyson really started to talk and coo while we were at my parents house - he would make lots of cute noises and squeals- sometimes you couldn't tell he was making the noises but you could hear him

We decided to go to the cove, which is an indoor pool. Jackson really likes to go there. My dad decided to stay home with Tyson. We ended up going on a Friday which is the day that the city takes all of the kids that are in summer camps to the cove as well so it was a lot busier then it normally is when we have gone in the past.

We took a walk to a park by my parent's house and played at the park - by the time we got there it was practically dark so we didn't stay very long - but when Jackson got to the top of this he said look I am a princess!! - maybe he has watched Tangled too many times!! - we tried to convince him that he was a prince not a princess - he wasn't so sure - he isn't to good with distinguishing gender - he still calls grandma Grandpa

After we were done swimming and had dinner, we took the kids to the movie in the park. They were showing "Puss in Boots." It was lots of fun. On the way to the movie I got pulled over!!! There is a small area of houses on a busy street so it drops from like 35 down to 25. I guess the police have been cracking down on this area and I was only going likes 3 miles over the speed limit. The police officer was very nice and just gave me a warning. It was interesting because my dad was telling me how my mom got pulled over in this same area and just as he said that I looked down to see how fast I was going and almost instantly I saw a police car and sure enough he was pulling me over. At least we still made it to the movie on time.

We had a nice visit and the kids had a lot of fun. I was able to have my mom help me tie a quilt for Tyson and help me make some necklaces for girl's camp. Jackson asks all the time to go to Grandpa's house. It covers both my parents since he calls them both grandpa.
