11 months and Thanksgiving!!

The day after we got back from Florida Jackson turned 11 months!! He is still a big guy and once he started to crawl he just took off and goes anywhere. He loves all food that is given to him and it didn't take long for him to be able to pull himself up to anything. He doesn't say any words except for Dada and go go go. He doesn't say Mama to much anymore, which drives me crazy. We were home for a few days after Florida and then we headed off to Albuquerque for Thanksgiving. My Grandma (we call her Yaya) got Jackson a stuffed animal which she thought was a dog, turns out it was a bear. It was pretty funny! He loved it anyway!!

We woke up to a little bit of snow on the ground on Thanksgiving morning. By the time we went anywhere it was pretty much melted.

My mom brought Jackson this Santa book and he loved it. She read it to him over and over again. He still likes to read it a lot.

My Aunt Cynthia invited us all to eat Thanksgiving dinner at the country club she is a member of. It was a very good meal and none of us had to cook or clean up it was great

Jackson enjoying his Thanksgiving meal - he was having a great time and ate whatever we would give him!!

Here is the whole group after dinner - my parents, my brother Steve and his family, Yaya, Aunt Cynthia and Joe, Uncle Jon, my Cousin Nicholas and his family, and of course me, Cody, and Jackson

I had no plans of doing any shopping on the day after Thanksgiving but Cody saw a few things in some ads and wanted to check a few things out. We just went shopping once we got ready so we missed out on some of the things Cody wanted to check out but we did get a fair amount of our Christmas shopping done. It was very busy in most of the stores we went to. For me it is hard to decide if I would rather spend more money and not deal with all the crowds or save some money and deal with all the crazy shoppers!! My cousin Nicholas has an awesome restaurant called Ragin' Shrimp. I love it. No trip to Albuquerque would be complete without going to eat there.

We had a great Thanksgiving and it was nice to introduce Jackson to my mom's side of the family. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
