We had a great Halloween this year. Jackson was dressed up as a dog. It is a well used costume. My mom made it for my sister's little boy and it has been used by many of my nieces and nephews. This year it was Jackson's turn. Jackson was really excited about pumpkins and loves to watch the It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. In fact we still watch it on a regular basis!! He calls it snoopy or the pumpkin patch. He says pumpkin really cute. He had a little plastic pumpkin to put his candy in and he carried it around our house all the time. When it came time for trick or treating he didn't want to carry it. He was not a huge fan of wearing the costume but that would change once someone would give him candy then he suddenly forgot he was miserable in his costume. He wasn't a huge fan of the ears but again got over it after he had some candy to make him forget about it. Unfortunately we couldn't get him to say trick or treat. He finally said it the other day just before Thanksgiving!!! I guess he will be all ready for next year.
These are pictures of him at our ward's trunk or treat - you will notice the first few pictures he is not to happy - 10/29/11
Cody dressed up as a hunter - he doesn't look very happy either!!
Trying to get his ears off
When I took him around to get candy he just screamed and kept throwing his body back at me while I was holding him - Here he is after we opened one of the suckers that someone gave him
Very happy and ready to get some more candy!!
Here he is lounging with dad after the major sugar rush
Cody and Jackson carving our pumpkin - 10/30/11
These are pictures from Halloween night 10/31/11 - this time as I put his costume on I bribbed him with a sucker and it worked perfectly - He wouldn't let go of that sucker until someone would give him something else that he liked better and then he would want that - We took him around a block by our house and then we passed out candy
Posing by our all our pumpkins and decorations out front
Jackson had a good time passing out candy. He would go up to the kids and say hi to them and try to follow them around. Then he would run up and down the drive way. He definitely was spoiled and got lots of candy.
Helping pass out candy
Being silly
Trying to eat all the candy we are passing out

After we took off his costume he had to get in some play time with daddy
