Since Christmas was on Sunday this year, we decided to go to church and then come home and do all the Christmas festivities. We went to church with Randy and Cindy in Thatcher. Their ward did a very nice Christmas program. After church we had a really nice brunch of french toast and bacon, then later we had green chili burritos. Cody's Grandma Pearl made the green chili, it was very good!! Of course Jackson got spoiled and we made out pretty good ourselves.
A family shot before church
Jackson with Grandma and Grandpa
A shot of the tree before we dug into all the gifts
The stockings after Santa came
Cody bringing Jackson upstairs to open his gifts
Jackson checking out the laptop that Santa brought him - he was pretty excited
Dad looks a little tired - Jackson is excited it has a mouse!!
Opening up his stocking
Trying to drink out of his Mickey Mouse water bottle that he got
Opening his gift from Grandma and Grandpa Castle
He was very excited about this gift - it is the Fisher Price Little Wheelies car ramp - not to take some of the credit but I did give my mom the idea - actually it was what I was planning on getting for him!!
Trying to help daddy put it together
My turn to open a gift - I think this was the game qwirkle - it is a fun game
Cody's turn
Excited about his circular saw
Testing out his car ramp
This was what Jackson did when he opened his gifts and got excited - he would put his hands on his cheeks and say,"oh my gosh, oh my gosh" - super cute - but thankfully he hasn't said it in a long time
Not sure what he was checking out but thought this was funny
Ready to open another gift
Here is what we got for Christmas - we are definitely spoiled - we got a really neat digital pressure cooker from Cody's parents that is really handy to cook with - I would reccomend getting one
Jackson's stocking stuff
Cody's family always arranges their gifts on their bed so everyone can check out what they got
Looking super cute in his new hat he got for Christmas
Jackson really liked playing the pinball machine at Grandma and Grandpa's house
We had a great Christmas and are thankful for everyone that got us gifts. We are also grateful to Cody's parents for hosting us. They always take good care of us when we are there. It was nice that Christmas was on a Sunday and we were able to start out the day celebrating what Christmas is all about. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Looks like a really great Christmas. Jackson is so big. I know I say that almost every time I comment but it's true! Next time we head to Phoenix we need to get together so we can meet Tyson.
