Zoo Lights - My Birthday - Christmastime Festivities

Jackson sitting on Santa's lap - He really liked Santa. This was at our ward party. We took him to the mall and he was holding Santa's finger and talking to him. The pictures were cute but you weren't aloud to take your own pictures and my scanner isn't setup with this computer to load the picture that we got but he looked really cute.

My dad and I finally got Jackson's police car put together that he got for his birthday. He LOVES it!!

Jackson at On the Border celebrating with my parents for my birthday - this was technically on the 23rd

After we were done eating at On the Border we went to the Zoolights. I would not suggest going on the 23rd!! It was very crowded. We had to wait in line just to cross the street from the parking lot we had to park at because the zoo parking lot was full. It was wall to wall people and we had to wait in a pretty long line to get in the zoo. It still was fun and the lights were really nice.

The next night on my actual birthday we went to see the lights at the Mesa Temple. We also attended the concert they had that night which was Jordan Bluth. He has an awesome voice it was a nice way to celebrate my birthday. He drew a really big crowd and it was getting a little brutal while I was left to guard the seats!!

Afterwards we went back to my house where I opened presents and we had birthday cake.

I wasn't expecting anything from Cody for my birthday - we went to the nutcracker and also the forgotten carols - So Cody trying to be funny wrapped up a bunch of things from our house - He had just recently made a bunch of applesauce and lots of dried apples so he put those in a bag and then gave me a cd that we had just found in our office about 10 minutes earlier - Very funny!!

Once everybody left it was time to get ready for Santa to come!! Even though I am 31 I had a nice birthday!! Thanks everyone for the gifts and phone calls!! We have wonderful family and friends.
